How easy are our seats to fit?
This depends on which C111 chassis model you have and if you want to install a harness belt. The standard Elise S1, 340R, Elise S2 (pre VIN:72400), Elise 111R (pre VIN:32403), standard Exige S1, Exige S2 (pre VIN;82395) can all be bolted directly to existing Lotus seat frames.
On other later models, we sell seat frame adapter kits (for the Mulsanne C,XC and XRC and a separate one for the Mulsanne B) that allow you to mount our seats to the existing factory Lotus drivers side seat frames, maintaining the slide adjustment fore and aft. If you need to fit harness belts then we also offer seat frame adapter kits featuring a double shear inner bracket and longer 7/16" bolt.
If you are not concerned about keeping the OEM seat sliders and want to save even more weight then we have a solution in our specially designed steel side mounts. They have an array of holes and slots allowing for plenty of adjustment.
Our subframe adapter kits also cleverly allow you to retain the stock 3-point lap belt and or fit an additional 3,4 or 5/6 point harness system.

Lotus Elise S1, 340R and early K-Series engined Elise S2 all had the same rear seat bracket hole spacings/drillings and our seats fit these. The 340R featured double shear rear seat mounting brackets both sides to allow the fitment of harness belts. For later 111R Toyota powered cars (i.e Elise S2 and all Exige S2/2-Eleven), Lotus changed the rear bracket hole drilling positions and hence our conversion kits are needed to allow our seats to bolt in. You can also use our conversion kits to convert any Lotus sub frame to double shear to fit harness belts with our seats.

Drivers Seat Fitment Requirements:
Mulsanne B seat Nylon spacer Kit (R01SI0087) required for Elise S1 (std), Elise S2 (pre VIN;72400 i.e K-Series), Elise 111R (pre VIN;32403), Exige S1 (std), Exige S2 (pre VIN;82395) when using the original factory 3-point seat belt.
Mulsanne B sub-frame conversion kits (R01SI0081 RHD, R01SI0083 (LHD) are required for; Elise S1 (std), Elise S2 (std), Elise 111R, Exige S1 (std/sport), Exige S2 (std/sport) when using 3/4/5/6-point harness belts to make double shear. Also use on Elise S2 post VIN;72400 (i.e 111R powered and Exige S2 post VIN;82395, will need on most Exige S2) and VX220.
Passenger Seat Fitment Requirement:
No adaptor kits required for: Elise S1 (std), Elise S2 (pre VIN;72400 i.e K-Series), Elise 111R (pre VIN;32403), Exige S1 (std), Exige S2 (pre VIN;82395) when using the original factory 3-point seat belt and 340R (std), Exige S1 Sport, VX220 (std) when using 3/4/5/6- point harness belts.
Mulsanne B sub-frame conversion kits (R01SI0085 (RHD), R01SI0086 (LHD) required for Elise S1 (std), Elise S2 (std), Elise 111R, Exige S1 (std/sport), Exige S2 (std/sport) when using 3/4/5/6-point harness belts to make double shear.
