We are able to manufacture high quality Autoclaved composite tools to OEM A-Surface standards if required, from CNC machined and painted Epoxy master pattern block. For a slightly cheaper option, with still good tolerance and surfacing, we can tool up directly off machined and hand finished non painted epoxy block. The Epoxy tools produced can be post cured to a maximum of 220’c. Normally a 1-8-1 ply lay-up is used (200gsm, 660gsm, 220gsm), however other lay-ups available on request. Also, additional 5mm CFRP bulkheads can be hand laminated in as a backing structure if needed with high temperature laminating resin. We are able also to machine alloy tooling suitable for high quantity production runs.
