Morgan Plus 4 (05 - ) 2.0L Duratec Supersports Carbon Fibre Air Box Induction Kit (for Long Omex Throttle Bodies)
Product Description
To reduce induction nose and allow cold ram air for Duratech Morgan with Long Omex dual throttle bodies and 30mm reversed PX600 back plate and Zolder 112RH with Indy 200SC filter canister bonded to RH end. The reversed 30mm PX600 back plate allows the 112mm deep Zolder air box to clear (by making the effective depth 92mm) the wing and fit under the bonnet,
a remote filter in this case our Indy 200sc is bonded on the end with internal R01SE6098 filter and 152 to 100mm filter adapter.
A length of 100mm hose and ram pipe are also supplied in the kit.
You will need to drill the supplied zolder backplate to fit, or book in for us to fit the kit here.
The Back plate needs to be offset and angle drilled, to help move the airbox as far rearwards as possible and lifted up and angled slightly up at the front also.
Please note the fuel injectors and fuel rail will need relocating back to the cylinder head (as OEM) to clear the back plate, this will also likely result in a more tractable engine with a very slight drop in ultimate power.
